With the start of the new academic year more schools have gained Trust status. As of October 2008 there are now 106 Trust schools that are actively pursuing the aims and objectives of the trusts that they are part of.
The DCSF has announced 65 schools who are joining the Trust schools programme and will receive bespoke support from the Trust and Foundation Schools Partnership.
